Terms of Sponsorship

Payment confirms the spot. A position is confirmed only after successful payment and booking confirmation. Takeover refunds follow the Refund Policy.

1. The project

Protest 2.0 is an independent creator sponsorship project operated by Ayush. It is not an official protest organisation, charity or political-party fundraiser. Sponsors support a T-shirt placement and agreed content, not a donation or investment.

Ayush plans to attend Jantar Mantar on 10 October 2026. CJP held a protest at Shivaji Park, Mumbai on 2 October and later announced a fresh Jantar Mantar protest for 10 October if the Chief Election Commissioner does not resign. Exploring a spot, entering brand details or preparing artwork does not reserve a position. A position requires a successful payment and booking confirmation.

3. Your bid sets the next price

You may pay the displayed minimum or a higher amount. Once a qualifying payment succeeds, the next takeover minimum is exactly twice the actual sponsorship amount paid for that position. For example, paying $500 sets the next minimum at $1,000, even if the starting minimum was $200.

A spot may change while checkout is in progress. It is not secured by opening the form or starting a payment. The shared payment system must verify eligibility and payment success before confirming ownership. A payment that cannot secure a position must be refunded; it must not silently purchase another position.

4. Takeovers and totals

A successful takeover replaces the current sponsor. The replaced sponsor’s eligible payment amount is automatically submitted for refund to the original payment method under the Refund Policy. Only the latest winning payment on each spot contributes to the current sponsor total; displaced payments are removed from that total. There is no promise of interest, profit or appreciation.

5. Booking, print lock and fulfilment

A closing date has not yet been announced. Each sleeve is one physical spot, not a separate front and back inventory item. Takeovers remain available only while the relevant position is open and not locked for printing.

Takeovers for a print run must close when its positions are locked for printing. The winning sponsor at that cutoff is used for that print run. Logos already appearing in older photographs or videos cannot be removed from every previous copy; a refund does not erase historic media.

6. Artwork and profiles

You must own or have permission to use your name, logo, description and linked content. You grant permission to display that content on the sponsor profile, print it in the agreed placement and show it in project documentation. You keep ownership of your intellectual property. Artwork must comply with the Content Policy and can require changes before printing.

The T-shirt images show approximate placement positions. Final print dimensions and logo treatment may require artwork approval before fulfilment. Profile edits cannot change the paid amount or takeover threshold.

7. Attendance and performance

Ayush plans to attend from 10 October and intends to wear the shirt on the days he attends. Access, restrictions and conditions may affect attendance. No continuous stay, protest duration, television appearance, view count, audience size, sales result or political endorsement is guaranteed. Historical protest figures are context, not a forecast for sponsors.

If a promised placement cannot be delivered, the Refund Policy applies. A materially different date or deliverable will not be substituted without the affected sponsor’s agreement.

8. Participation and disputes

Purchases must be made by a person legally able to enter the agreement and authorised to represent the brand. Do not impersonate others, misuse payment methods, manipulate bidding or submit unlawful material.

These terms do not remove any rights that applicable law does not allow to be excluded. Material changes will be dated and will not retroactively remove a confirmed refund entitlement. Contact Ayush to report an issue before making a payment or using the project.
